ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT 

 

The Department of Electronics and Communication was established in the year 1995. Started in the year 1995, the department is offering B.E – ECE, M.E – Communication Systems and M.E – Embedded System Technologies. The UG course is accreditated twice in 2007 for THREE Years and in 2013 for FIVE Years by NBA. Well experienced and dynamic faculty imparts knowledge and skills to inculcate the professional responsibilities to play leadership role along their diverse career paths and develop capability to utilize innovative and creative engineering skills in industry, research centers, National Laboratories and entrepreneurship. The Department is striving to become a center of excellence in the field of Optical Communication, RF and Microwave Engineering, VLSI and Embedded Systems. The sincere effort of our faculty to motivate the students has produced remarkable achievements in Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities.

We, at Sri Sai Ram Engineering College aim to build Zenista as the platform for not only showcasing technical expertise and challenging the best in their fields but also at integrating technology with social causes. Zenista is a journey, an adventure - it is exploring Infinity and Beyond. After seventeen successful years that saw promising talents and immense reception, this year we intend to make it bigger and better. Zenista'15 is set to break all boundaries and ‘explore the unexplored’ in keeping with the essence of the namesake. This technical festival boasts of a series of challenging events to set abuzz the best brains. Zenista'15 promises to be an unprecedented celebration of budding talent, technical excellence and innovative minds.
